Thanks to all our brand’s supporters for such an amazing year. In 2011, we found ourselves in Austin, TX showcasing We Are the Process at Style X, making new friends in Charleston, SC (we made 3 separate trips to #GrowTheBrand), fulfilling a lifelong dream of working with New Era, creating our 1st letterman jacket, and on your backs in countless cities throughout the world.
We couldn’t do what we do without you. As a thank you, we’ve discounted everything in the entire We Are the Process brand online store. This is the 1st time we’ve ever done anything this drastic. Quantities & sizes are limited, so take advantage of these mark downs as they’ll only last through December 31st.
Thanks again, and here’s to an awesome 2012!
Our new collection of We Are the Process is available online now at WeAreTheProcess.com and select retailers around The South. This is personally my favorite collection so far and I’m not just saying it. There’s something for everyone. We used 3M reflective ink, we made a letterman jacket, we worked with New Era. The list goes on. I crossed a lot of things off my personal design-career bucketlist with this collection. I hope you guys enjoy the effort. #GrowTheBrand #SupportTheSouth

The folks at New Era have always pushed the envelope when it comes to baseball caps. As a fan of current on-field caps with their cool base technology, I can appreciate these efforts to incorporate new fabrics into their line. The caps are not for the traditionalist as the incorporate designs and textures that might make you stand out in a crowd. That’s a good thing, right? All these styles should be available at the New Era Flagship store in Atlanta very soon.

One of my favorite bartenders in Atlanta, Evan Hawkins, was crowned the National Champion of the 2011 United States Bartenders Guild Drinks & Ink Competition presented by Tuaca. This not-so-usual take on a bartender competition combined the intersecting cultures of bartenders and tattoos with bartenders being judged on their Tuaca bold shot recipe and the overall craftsmanship of their tattoo.
Hawkins captured his first national bartender competition by beating out eight other finalists from the around the country to win a Tuaca photo spread in this month’s Inked Magazine.
“I’ve competed in several bartender competitions and Drinks & Ink was one of the most different and fun ones I’ve ever experienced,” said Hawkins. “I’m proud to have been recognized for both my Pura Vida body art and Tuaca bold shot and am stoked up to be featured in Inked.”
Hawkins won his first national bartender competition with his Pura Vida bold shot recipe and a tattoo featuring a sugar skull with the words “Pura Vida” under it. Pura Vida means pure life in Spanish and the skull is a candy given out on the “day of dead” ceremony in Mexico. For Hawkins, it means to celebrate your life and live the best you can before the end comes.
